What patients say on Google

“The Nurse Practitioner Narissa Marasso, is THE WORST and I have even had my first appointment with her. This company is so focused on getting you in and scheduling as many appointments as possible to ensure they get paid by your insurance, all while pretending to care for you. I was referring to Life Stance after being hospitalized. My first virtual appt. did not generate a link to connect, so I called at 2:03 and waited for over 10 minutes for a rep to answer. During that time, I sent SEVERAL messages on the portal saying I can’t get a link to join the appointment. The representative finally answered, walked me through the steps and again NO link was generated. The rep said, this ALWAYS HAPPENES ON THE FIRST VIRTUAL VISIT, they shouldn’t schedule the first visit virtually and you’ll need to reschedule. I did so, IN PERSON to avoid this in the future. Now I’m OUT OF MEDS AND HAVE A MISSED APPOINTMENT FEE THEY WILL NOT WAIVE, all while waiting for the IN PERSON appointment date with NARISSA MARASSO, NP. I get a message that’s says, MY IN PERSON APPOINTMENT WAS CHANGED TO VIRTUAL. I call and was told too bad! I explained over and over that I can’t not do the virtual due to the isssie I had and that I’m out of meds. The representative I spoke with did not care what so ever and told me they did not have an office manager or any other manager or supervisor about the issues I had with the appointment and or fee previously charged, they fact I HAVE NO MEDS FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND I CAN NOT RISK ANOTHER MISSED APPOINTMENT THAT WOULD CAUSE ME NOT TO HAVE MY MEDS FOR AN EVEN LONGER PERIOD OF TIME! THERAPIST AUDREY ZWEIG IS AMAZING! She did try to get meds until my appointment date but was not able to. So now, I still have to pay the missed fee for the first visit , although I didn’t get a link to join and still didn’t get it when the person that rescheduled the appointment for me couldn’t get the link to generate either! I’m still without meds, are amazed that Marasso,Narissa, Pmhnp and SOME of the LifeStance Staff members operates this way by tacking on fee for missed appointments that’s are BEYOND the patients control AND CHANGING APPOINTMENTS AND DENYING PATIENTS ACCESS TO THE MEDS THAT THEY DESPERATELY NEED. This entire situation of being billed, being out of meds, NP switching appointments, rude staff when calling in (last representative I dole with at lifestance health was rude, said they didn’t have managers or supervisors or office managers). If you’re looking to get mentally stable, I’m starting to think, this may NOT be the place to give you that assistance! NOW I HAVE TO FIND A PROVIDER. At least I got a great therapist (Audrey Zerig) out of the deal!”

“Dr Weiss is fantastic: knowledgeable - thorough - compassionate. She feels like a friend but she’s very much my doctor. She makes sure I understand any side effects of the various medications and allows me to help in making decisions about my health.”

“I truly cannot thank Cathy Troue enough for everything she has done for my brother, Elmin, and our family. My brother has autism, and working with Cathy has genuinely changed his life. She has given him the support, guidance, and care he needed, and the progress we’ve seen has been incredible. To be completely honest, it feels like she saved Elmin’s life—and in many ways, she saved our family’s life too. Before Cathy, we struggled to find the right support, but since working with her, Elmin has improved so much. He is happier, making progress, and our entire family has more hope and peace because of the difference she has made. Cathy is compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the people she helps. She goes above and beyond, and you can tell this is more than just a job to her. We will always be grateful for everything she has done for us. I would recommend Cathy to any family looking for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference. Thank you, Cathy, for changing our lives.”

“I’ve been overall pleased with Lifestance. I’ve been a patient since 2022. It took a lot of time to get situated with a nurse practitioner that I connected with. I was finally tested/diagnosed for ADHD. Once I was put on meds for it, I realized I’d had ADHD all my life. Explained A LOT of my issues. Be patient and give it TIME. Rome wasn’t built in a day & neither was I!”
