What patients say on Google

“Great place to go and very caring and helpful doctors, they have there limits for what they care help you with but they do a great job with what they can do, highly recommended to anyone who is in need of great doctors, they do not have much ability to help with people who need certain types medication, but they will help you with everything they can up to their own abilities for you, very friendly and caring, highly recommend, 🌟🙏”

“They would not listen to what I needed help with. They only wanted me to say, I wanted to kill myself or I was hearing voices or hallucinating. I'M NOT SAYING SOMETHING THAT IS NOT TRUE. So I fired them and went back to Dr. Greypel in St. Louis.”

“My wife and I have two sons that we have been trying to get services for. At this point, due to their special needs, they need to be in facilities that can monitor them and keep them from hurting themselves as well as others. I took one to the emergency room after their psychiatrist suggested taking them. They sent us home. They suggested the crisis center. Not wanting a disappointment and another waste of time like the ER, I called the crisis center and spoke to a wonderful woman for about an hour. She assured me that they would definitely be able to help. She said to bring them both in, and they would get the ball rolling after filling out some paperwork. I gathered them both and drove down to Festus. My heart was filled with hope, something I had long given up on. We finally arrived and entered the building. We were met with friendly, smiling faces and were handed sign-in sheets. Name, address, phone number, etc. As I began writing down our information, a loud, boisterous man barged into the lobby, shouting for me to leave. He told me I was wasting my time as well as theirs. He told me they didn't help "their kind." Like they were sub-human or something. I nearly crumbled right there to the floor. My hope had been crushed. I had thought, "This is it. They're going to be safe. WE'RE going to be safe now." This jerk just yelled and yelled that the lady I spoke with had spoken out of turn, and they didn't help "their kind here." We left. Dejected and hopeless. My boys didn't know what had happened or what that loud man had said. They didn't know why dad was in tears. Don't come here. Just. don't. They don't care. They hate. They are bigoted and biased. I have told several other Compass Health employees about what this guy did, and they all said they would look into it. Well, they haven't. No contact. No phone calls. No apologies. Nothing. Heartless. But then again, they probably don't apologize to "our kind."”

“I came to the compass health building crisis center to have a place to sleep im homeless. They let me stay and fed me the next day i went back and tried to stay again and they wouldnt admit me. I have seen other homeless people that have gotten to stay every night. But then i couldnt stay. They pick favorites here some guys get to stay a few weeks then other guys cant even get a cup of cofee like me. Some get to stay for weeks and get double food i had nt ate in 4 days and the only thing i got was a thing of crackers. And told me i couldnt get anything else while sitting there another homelese feller got raviolis and bread. place is a joke! Whoever runs it needs to starve a few days And see how they like it.”
